Scandal at the AOG!!!

You are hearing it from me first ... Team Squirrel is embroiled, once again, in an AOG scandal of ... well, Olympic proportions! None other than the star of the 2012 Summer AOG, Dudley-kiev, was caught by this reporter trying to break into the vending machines at Olympic Stadium. A huge embarrassment for Team Squirrel, and we are all left wondering if they will even be allowed to compete in these Games. Stay tuned...

In other news...Team House Finch, led by Mr. Rosy, secured a place in the Soaring Finals to be held later in the week.
Team Purple Finch sent their team captain to check out the food before they can commit to any competition. They are known to be food snobs at times, so it remains to be seen if they'll compete this year.
Just when it looked like Team Goldfinch might pull it together for the aerial relays, their Charm went all crazy...
Team Junco, seemingly settled down from their recent in-fighting, had an excellent showing in the relay race and are now in the finals!
And a surprise entrant, Team Carolina Wren showed up, although their star athlete is complaining of a sore toe...
Team Blue Jay was at the top of their game today, looking absolutely solid in the Peanut Speed Sprints
Unfortunately, Team Mourning Dove's Gloria started acting a little possessive at the corn buffet, much to Blue's total shock! and even though Gloria was warned, she continued to behave badly and was seen giving Blue the stink eye!. In fact, it really wasn't a good day for Team MD, with Hermione crashing into Esmerelda at the Buffet. One wonders if they'll be able to pull it together...

Two emmissaries from Team Turkey stopped into the Bistro, unseen by yours truly. When I went out to restock some of the buffet items, I scared the bejeezus out of them and they ran into the woods, screaming "run for your life!" Oh dear. Hopefully they'll recover from the trauma in time to find their puck and return to the hockey game...

The projected 4-6 inches of snow today only ended up being about 2-3 inches, which we now scoff at. Rain predicted for tomorrow along with a slight warm up. Hopefully fog won't be a problem at Andover Stadium tomorrow...

Your intrepid reporter, signing off...
