Wild Thing

Can't believe that today is my 300 th blip. I'm still enjoying it all and would like to thank you all for your comments, stars and favs over the past months. It's such a great idea, thank you Blip central for continuing a fantastic service.

Today we decided to go on a photography trip to the Black Isle Wildlife Park at Drumsmittal, near North Kessock. I was a bit doubtful as to what we would find as some of the reviews were poor but we were pleasantly surprised. Ok, it could do with an upgrade but the animals seemed happy enough.

The day was lovely, a super sunrise and the sun shone all day. We took plenty of photos and this one shows one of the Scottish wild cats. A super animal and on the endangered list. They look like an over sized tabby cat with attitude !
David needed some photos for his college project so we were lucky that they were out and about enjoying the sun too.

We found the emu and rhea the funniest , they followed us along the fence watching us with their beady eyes.

Lemurs and raccoon were happy exploring their cages and there was a very tiny baby marmoset. You can see some more animals here
