But not the final one! Appropriately this shoe last was the last of a series I have been shooting at the BCLM, so it will be back to mainly photographing newly accessioned items there in the future. When I was working on the development of CAD software in the early and mid 1970's, shoe lasts were particularly interesting to developers at the time (perhaps coons patches were particularly suited to the shape), though we working on car lighting instead.
