Tropical Paradise

Another long day shooting at Las Palmas. One of the requests in the photo brief had been to showcase the hotel by showing warm, sun filled photos. The thought was that such images would make someone in a cold, snowy location jump on an airplane and fly south for a week or so of thawing out.

I was up early shooting the sunrise and late getting images after sunset, but this mid-morning shot of a lone swimmer, with the sun beating down on her back, looking at the waves roll in seemed to perfectly capture what the brief expressed. Can't those of you in cold locations across the world imagine yourself in her place?
