Learning day by day

Disney Dreams!

So we got up very early, breakfasted once through passport control and security, caught in total one taxi, three trains and one shuttle bus before Carys finally realised where we were going for our holiday, once we were actually in our room in the hotel. Her eyes just grew like saucers!

Everything fell right for us on our first day. We decided to do a loop on the train first as there was no queue. We were sat in a carriage with a French family who gave us their VIP fast pass! Reesult! We then hit Main Street with only 15mins to go to the parade but some how managed to get a front row position (although it was on a corner which meant you could only see the floats as they came round the corner rather than from a distance. I have to say as a first time watching the parade and as an adult, I was very impressed.

Parade done we decided to use the fast pass on Peter Pan which was a result as it had a 45min wait and to be fair it wasn't worth the wait, but the kids loved it and it is what Disney is all about. From there we used the fast pass again on Buzz Lightyear (or Buzz Éclair!) and beat a huge queue. We did a couple of other rides before stopping for food and then finding a decent place to watch the light show from. although we were slightly to one side the light show was very clever and both Carys and William were singing along to the songs they knew, in particular the Lion King songs.

Straight back to the hotel and bed for two tired children with a huge day ahead of them.
