Moss-red

We all know what kind of green we're talking about when we say "moss-green", but to my mind this wonderful colour, moss-red, would look perfect on, say, velvet curtains! This big clump is beside the forestry track above Benmore, on a damp hillside where hardly anyone will ever see it - rather like the flowers "born to blush unseen" in Gray's Elegy.
