Back Blip #2 - Saturday Sailing

Hanging with the boys and trying to learn something about sailing.

What a great day out - even if we were last! haha Dead starting motor required a tow out of the harbour and then we had to sail over to the starting line with no wind and didn't get a good start at all and the wind was nearly non existent. For reasons beyond me and our equipage, the boat was like an anchor in the water. So, the second half of the regatta was very relaxed knowing there was no rush to rush something that couldn't be rushed.... That was good for me, since they let me get the camera out and shoot some pictures. Also, great guys who took time to explain as much as possible and even let me take the helm for about an hour.
