Nature Trail

Today was a long overdue trip to discover a road that had been pending since 1988!! A bit like the lost city of Atlantis.....this was a quest for the mountain village of Huwaylat!

The route was on the way to the Hatta border with Oman and then wending our way up into the mountains where previously the cyclists had scrambled down!

Always love an explore.....and being Friday, our weekend, we could get lost and still have two days to get found again!!!...that was presupposing we hadn't crossed any illegal borders and ended up behind bars!

The terrain was incredible as was the wildlife and as I couldn't decide who got pride of place in my blip.....you can get to enjoy them all! The camels, the sheep and goats, the hawk, the donkeys, the sign that warned us to go slow and the amazingly 4 shades of grey, true to life, as seen, tissue paper mountains! (They were my favourite to blip but then you would have missed all the wildlife!!)

A great adventure......to be revisited!
