Church

9.7C starting dull with showers then brightening for the afternoon. Breezy.

Apothecary7 started the working week with a day off. We went through to Dundee and visited the Volkswagen dealer to finalise all the details for delivery of A7's new car.

On the way home we went to M&S but the queue at the cafe was too long for my liking so we just bought one or two groceries and started for home. We turned off into Broughty Ferry and had coffee at Caffe Nero for a change and then visited three charity shops.

No pottery finds today but I did pick up a copy of the first of Ian Rankin's Rebus novels. I am reading 'Standing in Another Man's Grave' at the moment and I thought it would be an interesting idea to go back to the first book next.

Before lunch we took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk down to the shore. It had started to brighten up. When we were walking along the beach the sun came out and it was quite pleasant. Maeve got off the lead to play with a Spaniel and a Red Setter for a few minutes.

On the way back up from the shore the light looked too good on the school, church, and Glebe to resist trying for a photo.
