Firepower

Nandina domestica "firepower" provides wonderful colour at this time of year. This specimen is in my south facing back garden. The specimen in my north facing front garden is not nearly as vivid.

It makes a good contrast to the dead leaves that I really must get round to raking up because they attract slugs.
