The crack of dawn?

Well, I was up at the crack of dawn to take some good friends to the airport [Australia bound, lucky lot!]. Bought some croissants on the way home and was just settling down to an early breakfast when I saw a red glow, the dawn was cracking over the Alps.....hope it's not a case of red in the morning, sailors warning.
