Theatre of varieties

This building is the Lyceum in Govan, Glasgow, which has been here since the late 19th Century. The original building, I'm told, burnt down, and was rebuilt in the 1930s. It was originally used as a 'picture house' and then later a bingo hall in the '70s. It needs some love as has fallen into major disrepair since it was closed in the '90s. There were recent plans to refurbish it and make it into an arts centre but I'm not sure whether these were passed or not. I was working near to the building last week and spotted it. The art work covering it shows the building in better times; a great idea.
