Doha Days

A trip to top up the larder after work today. The local hypermarket has regional produce presented in an age old fashion - but behind perspex panels. The vast majority of the fresh produce, however, is sourced from southern Europe and has to be flown in. The food miles here are enormous. The temperature today has been creeping up but to gloat about that is somewhat unseemly having just seen the UK weather forecast on the tv this evening.
