Great morning for running on the beach before a busy day's work from home and in town this afternoon. 

The calm clear blue belies the fact that the pavements, promenade and sand had an icy veneer on them!

Thank you for your comments on yesterday's 1972 transparency reversal. I wonder what the photographer said when they saw the published version?!
