Spore heads

The weather forecast suggested a short window of opportunity for walking the dog. It was very windy and nothing would stay still, not even me. Almost home, I noticed the way the sun had caught these sporophytes of a small clump of moss on top of the dyke. They weren't staying still either and this was the least fuzzy of the shots I took.
