Can you see the Owl?

There is a book called the Owl Service by Alan Garner. It is aimed at young teens and is an Arthurian love story set in modern times.

One of the elements of the book is the Welsh myth of Blodeuwedd, a woman created by a magician from flowers, who loves the wrong man and is punished by being changed into an owl.
