Coastal path at Lulworth Cove

Visible just to the right of the white-walled building, and at the centre of this photo, is a flight of steps of the coastal path leading upwards and eastwards along the cliffs towards Kimmeridge Bay.

Access to the path is barred after a few steps, as a result of a cliff fall. The fallen stone and earth can be clearly seen encroaching on the beach a little further to the right. Between this and the steps are the remains of the Bay's modest beach café, which must have been destroyed recently by the sea.

To the left of the photo is multi-coloured mud, just one of several recent mudslips along West Lulworth's stretch of the coast.
