Time for Change?

Was in Skegness this morning for a meeting. One of the people attending arrived late and stated she had been listening to the news, she went on to say that she had heard that the local council were planning to move the clock tower to Cleethorpes as it was too expensive to keep. She quoted that it cost in excess of £18,000 a year to wind it. I did wonder if it was April first as this sounds such a ludicrous suggestion. I have tries looking on the internet but can't find out anything about it, so maybe she had got it wrong. Only time will tell!. 'Scuse the pun!
