Breaking the Rules

On a tour through the Art Gallery of Ontario as part of tonight's art class, I managed to take this picture of an Alexander Calder wire sculpture just before the guard stopped me. Apparently we can't take photos, even if we don't use flash.

Very appropriate. This artist broke all the rules too.

Today's drawing exercises were brown paper bags and a still life with skull. I found the bag easier than the skull. The teacher compared my still life to a psychedelic 70's picture - but I wasn't on those drugs!
