NYC Day 1: View from the hotel

Day 1 of our trip and a true NYC experience. We dropped our stuff at the hotel (thank you mom for the room on the 29th floor of the Marriot at 53rd and 3rd) and went walking and shopping and drank in the energy of this great city.

That night we went to a Broadway show - La Bete which was fantastic. It felt a little mass produced though. Every show seems to have at least one famous TV or movie star on the marquee, I guess to attract tourists like us.

But still, we were tourists and we had a fantastic time enjoying the city and each other.

This is the view from the hotel room at night. I could see half the Chrysler Building, but it was the energy of the city that really grabbed me. So many buildings, so much light, so many people.
