Carnage

Rain rain and more rain all night and all day. A series of storms lining up and hitting one after other all weekend with a good few inches of much needed rain.

Managed to take babe out in between the storms for her walks and it was like a war zone. Trees had been stripped of bark, leaves and branches (blipped).

Spent all day in the office as my lunch meeting cancelled due to feeling unwell. Took all day sorting out 2 quotes for customers. Crossing the items they were planning on purchasing from our competitors with our own and working out prices etc. It was good to do for the first time but such a laborious process looking up competitor catalog numbers on our website and seeing the suggested matched. Half of the products don't exist as matches and you half to delve deeper to find them. Then put all the details in various systems and spreadsheets.

Still, my work yesterday paid off as the customer placed an order through us that would normally go to our competition!
