Messing about on the water

I had an unusually early riding lesson today and after struggling to get out of bed I got on the bike and out in the sun. It was a glorious morning and the river was full of people paddling (more or less successfully). I really must get in a kayak again, it is such a nice thing to do.

The riding lesson was good and bad - some decent trot and then some awful canter on the right rein before a lovely version of the same on the left rein (sighing and rolling my eyes at myself). The awful bits were all my fault, I tensed up badly so poor Harry couldn't move. Oh well, can't wait to try it again soon.
