Reflected Hues

The water is getting lower in the lake at the Taylor Dam. There are various water weeds coming to the surface. They make for interesting patterns on the surface of the lake and help accentuate the different hues in the reflected environment.
I drove Ricky to the Dam late this morning. He wanted to photograph birds as he had a borrowed 500.mm lens to play with. But the light was too harsh and not many birds were evident. Mere ducks were a bit boring. So we gave up on that area and drove to a shady parking place. From there we took both dogs on a walk along the Taylor River. Ricky had not walked in that area so it was completely new photographic territory for him. I do hope he was happy with the images he was capturing. The dogs and I enjoyed the extra company and the chance to show off one of our favourite walking areas.
