Many budded 'Dopey' Rhoddy

After a good morning at church we headed for lunch at the Bridgend Garden Centre near Freuchie, just off the A92 in central Fife. The Centre was established in 1986 by George McKinlay and has developed into a strong family business with a real desire for excellence and customer satisfaction. They certainly seem to be fulfilling these aims and there was a terrific range of plants on view.

This Rhododendron, Yakushimanum also carried the name 'Dopey', which I thought was a joke but isn't, seemed unusual in having so many buds.

The Centre is worth a visit and a is located in the midst of rolling hills and valleys.

For more info on this lovely Rhoddy, see RHS website.
