Tail of the dog

We both spent most of the day on various work tasks, interspersed with reading the gloomy news updates. A lot of people here are most depressed by 'the developments' since they aren't that far away, are reminiscent of recent history and both countries involved have land borders with Poland. As if the Spanish Inquisition wasn't enough. Enough said.

Pushkin didn't want to have his photograph taken. He said it was too boring. This shot of the tip of his tail illustrates the main difference in appearance between him and his brother Kajtek. The shot was chosen specially to avoid the unattached hirsute bounty of our floor coverings.

Maybe next week will be better.
