Local birds for Local people

After our Bird, Blipmeet and beautiful weather Fest of our few days stay in Edinburgh, it was back to wet and windy home territory, and a dodgy internet connection and phone line to boot. The inevitable unpacking and washing was followed by a bit of painting, which enabled me to move my desk and computer back to its rightful home.
I collected this book last week, having ordered it at the pre-publication stage. It really exceeded my expectations - the quality of the book itself, and the information and illustrations are fantastic, and I am proud sponsor of pages 141 & 142 - The Curlew.
