Courtship...

A beautiful morning deteriorated into a damp and dreary afternoon, but for once I got out in time to enjoy the fine weather. The sunshine actually felt warm, and there were signs of spring all around - flowering coltsfoot, cherry-plum blossom, burgeoning willow catkins and, of course, courting great-crested grebes. People of all ages were out enjoying the fine weather, and Rosie had a lot of doggy meeting and greeting to do!

I managed to finally finish three reports today, all sent off now and also wrote a draft management plan for another site. So all in all, a good day.
