Stob Coire na Ceannain

I made reference to the amazing show this hill was putting on yesterday and despite getting some very funny shots of Bob and Caley at their nonsense at Achaderry in the morning I couldn’t resist this today.
It is clearly quite blowy on the tops and you can see huge billowing clouds of spin drift being driven off the smooth shoulder of Stob Coire Gaibhre (peak of the corrie of the goat) over the cliff edge and down towards the Lairig Leaceach Pass. The rounded shoulder of SCG to the right would be a Munro in its own right anywhere else. The perspective compressing effect of this lens is deceiving as the summit on the right sits a good mile forward from the conical mass of Stob Coire na Ceannain (which of course is not a Munro either). I have assured Mrs Cakes that the view from this minor summit towards the Grey Corries proper is simply brilliant. (It hasn’t been ruled out)
I wonder if there’s anything on this weekend?
