Gold and silver

My friend turned 50. Does that make her golden? Well in fact she's a silver lady. She's ladened down with all kinds of bling and swag. She's a lovely person and very well thought of. Almost everyone bought her jewellery from her favourite shop.

A group of us went for dinner this evening. In case you're wondering, this is the chandelier from the restaurant. If you find yourself underneath it, chances are that you're in a place that makes lovely food but has terrible service and where the staff pretend to have no English when it comes to disputing the bill.
