Things Are A Bit Different Here

The latest weapon in learning German is Scrabble. It takes a bit of getting used to. Different points for some letters - ten points for a Y but only 3 for a Z. And those umlauts. And it makes you very aware of how limited your vocabulary is.

I was trounced in the game we played, despite being allowed a dictionary and being given a bit of latitude.

I need to learn the list of 2 letter German words.

Actually I need to learn at least a million other things as well.
