Peaceful Spot, Zuid Beijerland

Shot during a longish detour around the polder just outside metropolitan Rotterdam. A nice light day at work and so time for this.

We are still reeling from the near-disaster in the Crimea which thankfully has been diffused, albeit not yet thoroughly resolved. How connected everything and everyone has become. Europe does not want a war, ever ... but had there been no other alternative, it would have happened. It is always the easy way out to blame some party or other, easy but useless. Wars come about at the drop of a hat. How ridiculous and surreal is that!
