Wetlands, Municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland

Took a large U-turn at the intersection on the N59 but instead of returning to the N59, drove on the parallel road and took the scenic route back to the A29 by driving through Oude Tonge. This shot, though, was taken before I took the U-turn. Parked on the grass and crossed the road. The afternoon sun was bright and cheerful, to be sure. I did nothing to alter the shot; nothing at all.

Very sleepy. The Dutch don't say "I'm sleepy." Instead, they say "I have sleep". There is a word for sleepy -- 'slaperig' -- but it translates more like "sleepy-like" -- "I am sleepy-like" -- "I feel as though I am sleepy" -- which might not be the exact same thing. Oh well ... zzzzz ....
