Strike a Pose

Boys night last night. The George in Hitchin. An unusual pub as it seems to consist of several relatively small seating areas located from the front to the back of the pub. Not problem for a small group like ours, but if there you were a larger party, you would be in totally different rooms. Really friendly landlord as we know from our breakfast here a few months back. Simple menu but the food is fresh, well cooked and nicely presented. It's good to see a young chef who know how to dress a salad garnish. So many places think that putting a few salad vegetables, often still wet, on the plate is enough.

About 80% committed to a new (to me) car. Going to see it on Sunday morning. I should really off load my MX5 before I even think about bringing another car home. That would be the sensible thing to do wouldn't it. Bleh, when did being sensible ever pay off. Time to be a bit reckless :-)
