Wild..

..went down the croft (in the car) to harvest some parsnips, swede, and brussels.. Wind, rain, sleet, hail, and snow. All at the same time. And cold..

Harvesting the salad in the poly-tunnel was a bit better.

Then had to go and deliver them (and have a pint!)..

This is the view out to Stoer, across Eddrachiles bay and reminded me of the Jackie Leven song "Desolation Blues". It includes the lines:

"As I walk alone,
in the very far North,
have you ever seen the winter,
up here in Cape Wrath.

Where the Pentland firth,
plays it's deathly game,
you can't even tell,
what is land or sea or sky.."
