Cherry Blossom Moon

In the car park of the hospital the cherry trees were covered in blossom and the half moon was high shining bright. We’d been there to visit my nearly 97 year old Papa. He’d been getting frailer and his memory failing this past year or two after several mini strokes. Now he’s had a more major stroke and we’d come to perhaps say our last goodbyes. He squeezed my hand and mumbled his goodbye. He’s ready to go but still the body and mind fight. Who knows what the next few days will bring. Good Night God Bless
