The Old Village Pump

This has been moved from its original alcove in the wall by the local church. It originally stood on what was the main shopping street before the 1930's, but is just residential now. It now stands in the grounds of a block of flats and I nipped in quickly to take this photo! There's no gate and only the low flint wall that you can see on the left.

A busy day administratively today - lots of envelope stuffing and emailing things in advance of the church AGM later in March. I enjoy that sort of thing though, fortunately! News sheet also copied and folded, loo supplies checked and tea towels brought home to wash. A satisfying day - and lovely sunny weather as well! The air is beautiful today and smells of the sea.
