Beyond repair and back to nature.

Knew I would be out most of the day as was taking a friend into Manchester for a birthday treat of lunch at Mr Thomas Chop House ( tiny little Victorian tiled pub, on Cross Street/St Annes Square...great pub food.) then on to Royal Exchange for matinee performance of Orlando....a stage adaptation of the Virginia Wolfe novel.
It was a birthday treat...she knew I was picking her up at 12 and would deliver her home to family by 7 and that she needed to dress smartish not walking boots etc, but that was all! We had a really lovely afternoon.
But that meant I had to be up and out early to give Alf his decent run for the day, so we went all along the river and through the fields for a few miles. We have done this route so many times....but we'd never really noticed this shed, which is over a small collapsing mossy stone wall. This is what Blip does to you....so we went and explored. I liked its dilapidated collapsing effect that made it look like it was just part of the woodland almost. Alf liked the fact that there were lots of smelly heaps of leaves to attack and scatter and then run straight into the river to chase !
A good day all round.
