I have received a new lens through the post Tamron 70-300 VC and I am very pleased with it.

It opens up a totally new field of photography to me, and I am learning a lot.

I headed out to the local lake, and there were literally millions of people fishing out there. I had to say bonjour millions of times!

Anyway I walked around the lake and found a couple of spots to sit and watch the goings on. This female mallard was with a male and they were gently chasing each other around. I got some in flight too which I was quite pleased with. This shot is sooc, apart from a crop.

It was a nice place to unwind and think about nothing in particular.
