Cherry Bark

Much milder and less windy today, so my husband decided to tidy things up in the garden. I supervised for a bit and then came indoors to make courgette soup for lunch, served with some of yesterday's cheese scones. He was quite happy with the deal!

I noticed the striped bark on the little cherry tree for the first time since we've been here. Reminds me of an elephant's leg! Amazing how blip makes you open your eyes:-)
