Surprise appearance

I've had a busy Sunday, cooking and entertaining the boys. However, I did find time to seek out these Anemone Blanda. These little flowers appear apparently from nowhere at this time of year, and it is always a pleasure when they arrive.

The boys have gone home now, the house is quiet and we are missing their cheerful company. Normous is happy having watched England beat Wales in their six nations fixture.
