The Lion's Head

Mum intended at one time to make a fountain out of this, with water coming out of the lion's mouth into a bowl below. That plan never got put into action, so the lion has just remained in the garden as a piece of ornamental statuary. It's been around so long I can't remember where it came from - I think it was a 'found object', as she has a knack of picking up things like this which have been discarded by other people.
