Sure Sign!

Blue Flag Iris…Iris virginica, a Florida native, is the only large iris growing wild in Florida although there are seven smaller varieties of irises which occur here. They grow up to four feet tall and their flowers range in color from pale blue to purple. Blue Flag Irises can be found throughout the Eastern US and north into Canada.

This Blue Flag is very happy growing with her friends in my pond, and her blooms are a Sure Sign of Spring!
