Northern Lights

Went out late last night / early this morning as soon as we had checked into the hotel. With the 2 hour time difference that made it Monday morning. Headed down to the lake to see if we could see the Northern lights as tonight and tomorrow are meant to be the best nights. Had a glimpse of the lights for about 5 minutes. Managed to get a few shots this being the best of them. Headed off to bed to get ready for the first day of activities.
Woke up as late as possible and headed down for a good breakfast. They are on the lookout for people smuggling food out for lunch though as lunch isn't provided.
Had the welcome talk and then headed over to get out warm outer clothes and boots. by the time we arrived all the size 8 boots had gone for me so stuck with size 9 and couple of extra pairs of socks.
Got Flip Top a sledge with a seat ion it so we can push her around. Best as its very icy due to the warm weather they have been having.
Back for some stolen lunch before heading up for Ski Doo school. Great fun having a go through the forrest. At half way J took over and almost put us in the forrest early on.
Back for pre dinner drinks via the supermarket. Nice dinner. Afterwards we had a chat and dram upstairs before going out to see if we could see the Aurora again. Cloudy tonight so no luck.
Off to bed as we have an early start for snow shoe walking in the morning.
Might be a bit of an early entry for HAPPY this weeks theme as we were all very happy to see the lights as that was what Flip Top really wanted to come here for
