Almost there

Early start today. AD kindly drove us to Heathrow for 10am so we could meet the others for our trip to Finland. Flip Top seems to be quite well and looking forward to the flight. A bit of hassle getting through security as J left some cream in her bag.
Duty free was bought and we managed to get a sample of the new Laphroig.
Managed to get Flip Top a wheel chair for the rest of the connections. Just makes moving around a lot easier. Time for a quick snap of us all while we waited for the connecting flight north.
Arrived in the Arctic circle to find it much warmer than it should be. We have a 90 minute transfer to the hotel in Luosto. Seems like a nice place.
In the room and then went out looking for the Northen Lights. Managed to see them on the first night and get a couple of photos. Might be tomorrows blip is it was past midnight local time before we headed out.
