Early Evening Moon Shot

It was me old mum's birthday today, so I had to rush home from work, jump in the car and drive over to the old folks home to deliver her gifts and do the dutiful son bit. (I'm kidding about the old folks home, but sometimes I think it might be a good idea!)

Although I was pushed for time, I still couldn't resist grabbing the camera and taking a shot of the moon first (big version). Mum wasn't going anywhere, after all. I'm sure she wouldn't mind waiting!

Anyway, mum loved her gifts and I've done my duty. On the way home, the sky was still clear, so I took another shot of the moon since it was full dark by then. Check it out, if you like.
