Twilight on I-5 South

Most of us will agree that the sweetest benefit of Daylight Savings Time is being able to enjoy daylight way into the wee hours of the evening. Here, in the Pacific Northwest, the sun can still cast its glow as late as 10:00pm.

I continue to enjoy my relaxing backseat rides to Bayshore rehearsal each Monday. The drive takes about 40-45 minutes, with Donna doing all the driving (she insists!). Today, feeling very fatigued, I closed my eyes for just a bit while still soaking in the lively conversation. I was soon roused by a very bright beam of light on my face. When I opened my eyes, I immediately reached for my camera.
