Gibraltar Cottage

From granite rocks in Portugal last week to sandstone rocks on Tunbridge Wells Common. You can see how this house got its name. Built as a lodging house between 1814 and 1824 on the site of an earlier and smaller cottage of the same name. Having fallen into decay, it was restored and altered in 1970-71.

A grey cold day today. I wish I had taken my gloves on my brisk walk on the Common,.
