To the Beach

It's been a beautiful day here. Clear blue skies, sunny, coldish but not as cold as it's been. The painter is here painting the dining room, the carpet fitter came to measure up for a new carpet. The old carpet and curtains went via Freegle to people who wanted them. Part of the morning was spent doing domestic admin I had been neglecting. Then off into East Lothian to Gullane. The shot is of Gullane Bents. It's Gullane's main beach and it is absolutely beautiful - a long sweeping bay with views across the Forth to Fife. Back for visit to the dentist to replace a fallen out filling ( reassuring for if it had been a tooth that had fallen out I'd have felt depressingly old) . May get back to the beach later this week depending on the weather and available time. The joys of retiral!
