The Old Forge

A kindly neighbour has planted these in a little flower bed at the top of the drive that provides access to the four properties that run off it. Although it hasn't been an especially cold winter, it has been a particularly long, wet and drably unlit one, but now that there have been a few timorous slivers of sunlight there has been a sudden rush of manifest Spring in numerous guises, everywhere bursting forth. My last few blips, including the previous day's displaying swan, have been reflecting this welcome rebirth.
