My topsy-turvy life

Beached -or grassed- at Ellesmere

For the first time since upping sticks to Shropshire we had...
1- a lovely sunny day
2 - no work to go to
3 - no assignments to write
4 - no plans to speak of

To make the most of it we headed off to Ellesmere for a bit of a stroll around the mere and then an extortionately priced lunch in the café (seriously, over £13 for a sandwich, a slice of cake, and 2 drinks, I'm just finding a pub next time!) oh and of course Laura had to have an ice cream.

There's a bit of a sculpture trail going on around Ellesmere too and this is one of said sculptures that I claimed as captain, not sure how water tight it is though...

We finished the day off with a detour through glorious Oswestry and then when we finally got home, and couldn't be bothered to cook, we thought "Screw it! Let's just go out for food!" and ended up at the Four Crosses.
